ACUPUNCTURE SERVICES

If you are an individual seeking a holistic and personalised approach to your health, come in to speak with one of our acupuncturists.

Acupuncture is a time-honoured treatment designed to promote natural healing, alleviate pain, and enhance overall function. Regardless of the health condition, our skilled practitioners customise each treatment to suit your individual health needs and ensure optimal recovery.

Currently acupuncture is in our Auckland clinics, in the St Johns, Botany and Wairau area.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture draws inspiration from both traditional Chinese medicine practices and the latest biomedical research. Together, these approaches create a comprehensive method for diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions.

This practice involves manipulating pressure or inserting fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body. These points correspond to pathways that influence the body’s energy flow and stimulate natural healing responses, such as anti-inflammatory effects, endorphin release, increased blood flow, and neurotransmitter modulation.

Acupuncture is most widely recognised for its effectiveness in treating pain-related conditions, but it is also effective for hormonal, stress, digestive, and autoimmune issues, among others.

What to Expect in Your Acupuncture Session

Acupuncture is accessible to all ages. Your first appointment will involve a comprehensive assessment of your condition and health history. Based on this, our practitioners will design a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs.

  • You may experience a mild tingling or warmth, which indicates the body’s response to treatment.
  • Sessions typically last between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on your treatment plan.
  • Acupuncture is generally painless and leaves most patients feeling deeply relaxed.
